Hello everyone, my name is Marissa. My little family received the most unexpected news on Monday, May 19th. My partner, my best friend, my rock and the best Dad to our son Niko, was diagnosed with cancer. This is something we never expected. Although it's early and we still don't have all the answers, we trust in God to lead us through this journey. Alex will be having surgery next week and then will need chemotherapy. We are a two income family and Alex will not be able to work for some time. Although I work, he is our main source of income. We recently moved and both have new jobs and because of this, I will need to continue working. I'm unable to take time off to help with Alex's recovery due to financial difficulties, but we are optimistic of the outcome. Alex is feeling positive and has a great attitude and outlook of the future. We would appreciate any donations and prayers to help us through this time.
