Our son, Easton is 5,
loves trains, Transformers, water and the iPad.
He also has autism. Early
intervention is so important for children with autism and ABA therapy will give
him his best chance at growing into an independent young man someday. ABA therapy is used to treat children with
autism and has been proven to be the most successful therapy available to date.
The average cost to
provide ABA therapy for a child with autism is $30,000 per year. We have been fortunate that Easton has
attended the Carmen B. Pingree Center for Children with Autism for the last 2
years and we would like to have him continue there through the first grade. We are working now to raise funds to try to
offset costs. It is very humbling to ask
our family, friends and neighbors for help.
If you are able to donate and/or would like to participate in Easton's ABA 5K, October 20th 9:00 a.m. at the Sugar Beet
Pavilion in Sugarhouse Park, we thank you from the bottom of our
hearts. And if you have friends that love
to run, or just love a good cause, feel free to share Easton's link. Thank you all so much!
