The Debora Cummings Fund

Debora Cummings is in need of your love, support, and prayers. She is currently fighting for her life at California Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. As many of you know Debora has been in the fight of her life with Asthma, in and out of hospitals for the better part of her life. In the past 3 months her hospital visits and calls to paramedics became more consistent than ever before as it seemed she was not only dealing with Asthma but had been diagnosed with COPD and Emphysema which would prove to be an uphill battle. On March 9, 2014 Debora suffered an asthma attack that caused her to go into cardiac arrest. After paramedics fought hard to bring her back to us they received a faint pulse and rushed her to the hospital after being left without oxygen to her brain for more than 8 minutes.

After days in the hospital in a comatose state and being subjected to countless tests it appears that Debora has suffered irreversible brain damage and will never return to the lively, loving, helpful woman she once was. With her family and friends by her side we are now preparing for Debora's send off where pain will be no more and peace will be plentiful.

Debora is supported by her two daughters Antionette Kegler and Joetta Hall, her mother Maybelle Hampton and countless friends and family who love her dearly.

Please note any and all contributions are greatly appreciated and will go to Debora Cummings' funeral arrangements as we prepare to take her off of Life Support.
