Help Send Danny to the Holy Land

My name is Danny Sneade. I have been richly blessed in my life. I have a loving wife Carol, three daughters and six grandchildren, as well as supportive friends and church community. Over the past 8 years, I have experienced a deepening of my faith and have become actively involved in the Episcopal Church.
I am an active member of St. David's-in-the-Pines Episcopal Church in Wellington, Florida and also serve as a Eucharist Visitor for the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida. I serve as a volunteer Chaplain at Palms West Hospital and JFK Hospital. On September 13th, I began my third year of study at the Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida's School of Christian Studies and commenced the formal discernment process in July to determine the path our Lord wants me to take in serving Him, Holy Orders or lay ministry.
A year ago, I was presented with the opportunity to accompany our Bishop, Leo Frade, on a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. I believed that by walking where our Lord walked, my Christian faith and service would be greatly enriched.
I was all set to go on the pilgrimage, but unfortunately Carol beame deathly ill and I was unable to make the 2014 pilgrimage. While at Carol's bedside in ICU, Bishop Frade called to check on Carol and encouraged me to accompany him in 2015 to the Holy Land. So that is what I am trying to do.
The Pilgrimage in 2015 with Bishop Frade includes visits to many sacred cities and sites in Israel and Jordan: including the harbor from which St. Paul was taken prisoner to Rome, the town of Nazareth, St. Peter's house, the ancient mosaic of the Loaves and Fishes, Mount of Beatitudes where the Sermon on the Mount is remembered, Cana, scene of the first miracle, Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration, the traditional site of the Baptism on the Jordan, Jericho, Jerusalem, Mt. Olives, Gethsemane, the Palm Sunday Road, the tomb of David, the Dome of the Rock where Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Isaac, Bethany, the home of Martha, Mary and Lazarus, the Church of St. John the Baptist, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and much more.
I believe this is the best educational Pilgrimage a Christian that wants to serve the Lord can ever make. With your help, I hope I will be able to make the 2015 Pilgrimage and that my spiritual life will be strengthened and my service to the Lord will be even more far reaching.
