"Danny has been going through quite an ordeal trying to get back to the healthy Danny we all know and love. From what the doctors are saying it’s going to take some time. How much...they don’t know. " -Ricki: (girlfriends’Mom) spends many hours at the hospital and is helping Alexandra (Alex for short, his loving girlfriend and main support) manage his condition.
His current medical journey began suddenly on Friday, June 8th. His health has not improved and his diagnosis is not at all certain. The diagnosis that is most current is Limbic System Encephalitis - though this is not yet known for sure. There has been testing happening all the time and waves of specialists coming in to help diagnose, treat, and test.
He spent a couple days in the hospital and was released, only to be readmitted with more and more symptoms and troubles. He is being heavily sedated most of the time and is now medically assisted in receiving nutrients and oxygen while teams of Infectious Disease Doctors and Neurologists are working to explore what caused this and find solution for Danny.
Those closest to Danny ask for consideration and patience while this is all happening, as much is still not known and he is in the best of care in Orange County, CA. Updates here will become available as we get them.
For now we ask for any donations you may be able to spare for medical expenses and recovery time as Danny's journey appears to have only just begun. We do not know the extent of medical bills as things are constantly changing and again ask for patience, positive energy, and to share this gofundme page so as to best assist through this process.
