Covid-19 Relief for Uyghurs in Turkey

Many have asked us if there is a way to help the Uyghus who are helpless against the COVID-19 in concentration camps in China. Although it's impossible to send relief to China, you can help the Uyghur refugees who are currently in Turkey

Since the of-19 pandemic, many refugee Uyghurs in Turkey have been out of jobs and are living under financial stress. Darman Foundation is a not for profit organization founded by Uyghurs to help alleviate the sufferings of Uyghur refugees across the world. One of our main mission is to provide relief for the Uyghur Orphans, widows and families in dire need.

Uyghurs are proud Turkic Muslims living in Central Asia, East Turkistan but in the last 3 years a great oppression has befallen the Uyghur nation over a million Uyghur people have been detained arbitrarily and indefinitely in Chinese concentration camps since March 2017. Uyghur people in these camps are tortured, brainwashed to worship chinese communist party, eat pork, drink alcohol, organs harvested, forced labour, denounce their religion, denounce their identity and be separated from their loved ones. Their wife’s married to chinese communist party officials and their children taken to state owned orphanages to be brainwashed and serve the government. Uyghurs in East Turkistan are under genocide behind closed walls by chinese communist party.

In response to these atrocities many Uyghurs were forced to leave their home land with barely anything and seek refuge in countries like Turkey. Most of these recently arrived refugees are under hardship and struggling to survive, many of them can’t work proper jobs, get health care, apply for government assistance, provide basic life necessities for their families because they don’t have the necessary official papers and they can’t get the required documents from china for that reason they are left stateless and hapless.

While life is a constant struggle for these Uyghur refugees, orphans, widows and families this recent pandemic outbreak has increased their burden exponentially. Because of the covid-19 many Uyghurs lost what little income they were having and can’t feed their families or lose their water, electricity, gas supplies, can’t continue their education and can’t provide health care for their family members when needed.
