Ms. Degenhardt's Art Room Supply Budget

Greetings! As most of you know, I am an art teacher for the School District of Philadelphia. I teach at John Webster in the Kensington area of the city where 97.9 % of my students fall below the poverty line. I service 900 children K-5. This year, more than ever, with the district in dire financial straights, students NEED art and music, and teachers in the arts need your support. There is no money in the school budget for art supplies. This makes my job difficult. So, I am reaching out to you for help. My students, like all children, deserve the chance to thrive, and the opportunity to create joy and beauty through self-expression.
