Dear Family, Friends & Colleagues-
I am excited to share the news that I have been accepted into the Decolonzing Knowledge & Power Summer Program at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain. The course is offered through the Center of Study & Investigation for Global Dialogues and in collaboration with the Ethnic Studies Program at The University of California, Berkeley.

During this two-week intensive course, July 7-17th, I will engage with world-renowned professors in the fields of post colonial studies and decolonial thinking. As a program participant, I have also been selected to present my research paper titled "Indigenous Spirituality" which is based from a course I am scheduled to teach at The University of Texas at El Paso in the Fall 2014.
It is an honor to have been selected into the program. It has been my life goal to uplift Indigenous Philosophy and Paradigms as a resource of knowledge for all people. As I am preparing for this opportunity, I am asking for financial support. The total cost, to include tuition, room and airfar is $4,200. If there is any way you are able to assist, I would deeply appreciate it.
Thank you for your love and support!
