Bernie's Medical Expense Fund

Bernie Garza was first diagnosed at age 21 with Hodgkin Lymphoma, a cancer that starts in white blood cells and affects the immune system, which was treated into remission. 

Now 26 and recently married, Bernie's cancer has returned. He will need to undertake bone marrow transplant procedures in Seattle, 3 hours from home, for the next 6-9 weeks.

Both Bernie and his wife, Lily, will have to take extended time off of work and put their lives on hold to fight for his life. This fundraiser is to help offset the expenses his insurance won't cover, such as hotels, parking, food, missed work, and of course, medical bills.
