My name is Gbolabo Aluko, I am the first out of 3 children and this is my dad Olabanjo Aluko. He is a professor in Agricultural Engineering, an inspiration to his students and people around him at Ife in Nigeria. Our mom and we his children love him deeply. My dad was healthy, never with major health challenges until that unfortunate moment in time when everything suddenly changed. On the 16th of August 2017, he collapsed at work apparently with subarachnoid hemorrhage and was rushed to a local hospital where he was stabilized in the Intensive Care Unit. Days passed, weeks passed and he was moved from one facility to the next in different towns for several scans and tests since the hospital didn't have the necessary equipment. We raised money for him to travel to the USA, but unfortunately, he suffered another brain hemorrhage on getting to the USA and has been in critical condition since in the Intensive Care Unit. Although some financial support has been received from friends and family, more is now needed as a result of the second occurrence, for his subsequent treatment and rehabilitation. It has been an extremely difficult time for my family. My mum took an indefinite leave from work and my two sisters are currently in university in Nigeria. Please help my father return to his children.

Olabanjo, my father, has shown remarkable improvement and is responding very well  to treatment.  We thank you tremendously for all your love, prayers and support during this time.

He has finally gotten to the rehabilitation stage and as he moves to the rehabilitation stage, we are faced with an even greater financial challenge.
He needs intensive Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy as well as usage of specialized equipment.
We cannot handle this burden on our own and I know that if anyone can beat this Illness, it's my Father. Please help my dad to get back on his feet and back to his family in Nigeria.

During my my Dad's earlier stages of recovery I remember when my mother told me my dad said *'I'm sorry i'm in this state...'*. He still worries about his wife and his children back in Nigeria and the all the medical bills to be paid.

Please help ease the financial pressure so that he can get back on his feet again. No amount is too small, think of a brother, an uncle, a father, that loved one..
