Alyssa's Restoration Fund

This GoFundME is for my best from from college,  Alyssa Hamilton. We met in my hometown of Anchorage while persuing our bachelors degrees in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Alaska Anchorage and we quickly hit it off. After we graduated college, she moved to Texas. Alyssa now lives in Dickinson. And as many of you know, Hurricane Harvey decided to pay Texas a visit.  She does not live in a flood zone and was told she had no need to worry over flood insurance when she purchased her home. The one in five hundred year storm hit and she did get flooded. About 4 inches in her home and about 6 in her garage.
It has quickly come to her attention that she cannot handle the expenses for all of the damage alone. She has applied for FEMA to help but the damage is overwhelming and she understands that she will need more than just FEMA helping her. Which is where you come in, if you can. I realize that it is not possible for everyone to help financially and all thoughts and prayersfor everyone in the area are truly appreciated. If you are able to provide support financially, I would welcome anything you are willing to part with. These funds will go towards: cleaning supplies, insulation, dry wall, replacing flooring that had to be thrown out, baseboards, possibly kitchen cabinets... the list goes on and on. Please know that any contribution you can make is truly cherished and appreciated and will help Alyssa to rebuild the place she calls home.
