Adrianne's Cancer-Kicking Fund

My name is Chris Biorkman. My twin brother, Carey, is married to a wonderful woman named Adrianne (38), and they have two kids, Molly (16) and Robert (12). This week, their family was dealt a devastating  blow with a sudden cancer diagnosis.

Last Saturday, Adrianne went to the ER with what she thought was a migraine. After several rounds of  tests and scans, it was discovered that she has 30-40 lesions in her brain, as well as other masses in her  spine, liver, lung, and lymph nodes. At this point, her prognosis and treatment plan remain uncertain.

Adrianne works with special needs children at Prairie Trail Middle School in Olathe, and is one of the  most selfless people I’ve ever met. She has friends all around the country, some of whom have expressed a desire to help in any way they can.

Medical expenses and Adrianne's need to stop working are certain to place a significant financial burden on them at a time when their focus should be on her health and wellbeing. I felt like this would be a good way for the people who know and love her to come to her family’s aid in this difficult time.
