Julie’s story

My name is Amy, and I’ve known Julie for over 20 years. She is one of my favorite people! We met through dental hygiene and have remained friends throughout the years. So many people are drawn to her fun and outgoing personality. I am sure patients love her for all these reasons. She has worked at DuPont Family dentistry for 20 years. She was hesitant for her friends to organize this because this is not in her nature to ask for help.

Last week Julie suffered an immeasurable loss. Her youngest son Owen committed suicide at the age of 14. I’m sure that was very difficult for Julie to allow me to reveal this. This is on the heels of enduring a Covid 19 long haul journey. She was not able to work for a very long time . She still has lingering health issues from the virus.

As you can only imagine she will not be able to return to work for awhile so I am organizing this Go Fund Me account to help with daily living and previous financial obligations due to her being out of work for so long.

UPDATE.....I saw Julie last night at Owens’s funeral. She wants all of you to know how very grateful and humbled she is by the out pouring of support she has received. So please continue to share this so we can at least lift a few burdens off of a grieving mother’s heart. ❤️
