Funds for Houston

Hi Everyone!

I created this Go-Fund me account to help support my sister Alexis Villegas and my brother in law Rey Villegas. They have 2 beautiful little girls; Penelope Rey who is 3 and Aria Rose who is 1 and are expecting their 3rd little girl Evangelina. However what should’ve been a pleasant experience at Evangelina’s anatomy ultrasound has turned into a very challenging experience for the whole family. During their visit it has come to their attention that baby Evangelina has a heart defect called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome which affects normal blood flow through the heart and causes the left side of her heart to not form correctly. With that being said soon after baby Evangelina is born multiple surgeries are needed to be done in order to increase blood flow to the body and bypass the poorly functioning left side of the heart. After a lot of research and advice it has been decided that in order for Evangelina to be treated by the best cardiovascular surgeons the only choice they have will be to travel to Houston to give Evangelina the best care and best chance of survival that they can give her. Now we come from a very strong in faith family, we believe that God doesn’t give us anything we cannot handle. We are prepared for whatever God decides however as long as we see our little warrior kicking and fighting in that sonogram we are going to kick and fight with her. We are asking for any little help you can give towards Rey and Alexis to help with the cost of gas, food, hotel, etc. for the family to be able to stay in Houston to give Evangelina the best fighting chance possible. I want to make this as stress free as possible for the family which is why I created this account.
