Helping Texas

Virginia Paws for Pits is partnering with local volunteers and shelters to collect supplies for people and animals affected by the flooding in Texas. We will be loading a semi truck and horse trailer on the 7th with donated supplies and driving down to deliver them to shelters in need. We will also be volunteering there for 2 days to match animals in need with our rescue partners and fosters and bring them back to virginia to help make space for the influx of animals that are homeless or lost. Money raised in this campaign will be used for gas, a rental van, supplies to donate as well as supplies needed for the animals traveling back to Virginia with us. As of now our goal is to bring back a minimum of 9 horses, and 15-20 dogs and cats. If we have space for more and can responsibly match them with fosters and adopters then we will do so.
