I would like to start by thanking you for taking time to read about my husbands journey so far... 
On February 10th. 2019, I came in from work to find him in the dark laying on the couch in severe pain.  He refused to go to the ER or even go see his Dr. The pain in his stomach was so bad that he had to sleep sitting up in the recliner. 

After a week of this, I finally convinced him to see aDr. they initially thought it was kidney stones... but he wasn’t that lucky. After ruling that out, a CT scan was done and that’s where the journey began. A malignant tumor was found and surgery was scheduled. On March 7th. surgery was performed, and it was confirmed that he had Adenocarcinoma, Colorectal Cancer, stage 4 that had spread to his lymph nodes and liver. 

he started chemo in April, and has had 16 treatments. His Oncologist advised him in November to start searching for other options, as the chemo would eventually become immune to this treatment.  So I did just that... I reached out to the what I feel is the best cancer center in the US... MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. He had his first visit on December 9th. with a Surgeon, then seen an Oncologist on December 11th. 

Even though they both seemed uncertain that surgery would be an option because of the difficult areas of his tumors, they took his case to a panel of Dr’s, and by the grace of God... They have agreed to do surgery!! ❤️

He is scheduled to go back to have another CT scan and consultation with the Colorectal surgeon on January 2nd. They will schedule surgery at that time.
I’m not sure how this works... but I am asking for donations to help him get through this financially, as he has been out of work since May.
