On Mother's Day 2014 the Nisly family's home was destroyed by the tornadoes that swept across Nebraska.  Such a loss is devastating for any family, but rebuilding is even more difficult for a family of eleven.  The Nisly’s have been foster parents for nearly 20 years.  They have impacted the lives of many children during that time, and have adopted nine of them.  Their unconditional love and acceptance has helped the children in their home to thrive.  Let’s help them continue to care for their children and the foster youth in our state by supporting their effort to rebuild their home and their lives.  Below are links to an article about the Nisly's experience in the storm as well as a past story on their amazing work as foster and adoptive parents.
