Help for Pam & Jacob Whitford

Tuesday night, May 13, 2014, our town of Penn Yan, NY was hit with a devastating storm that severely flooded many homes and businesses including Pam and Jacob's house.  By 1AM the next morning, all of their basement windows were blown out and water had filled the entire basement and water was rising into the first floor from the basement, and back door.  It was a very sad and scary sight to see.  Now Pam and Jacob cannot stay in their home and it is not yet known when or if they will ever be able to go back.  Unfortunately, at this time they have been told that insurance will not help cover any damages.  

There are many people that have so generously donated their time to help with the cleanup and packing up of valuables.  It is overwhelming and so heartwarming to see how many people came out to support with a helping hand, food, hug, shoulder to cry on, and so much more.  The cleanup effort has been and will be daunting both financially and physically. The Whitford family will be forever greatful for any help you can send their way.  Your help no matter how big or small will help us get to our goal, and hopefully even surpass it for these two wonderful people.
