Kinsley was recently diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma cancer. She was a perfectly healthy, happy child who was taken to urgent care when she complained of chest pains one day, and mom and dad actually expected it to be nothing and were expecting to be sent home. However, after a chest X-ray, their world changed completely. Fluid was found in her lung, and she was sent to Valley Children’s Hospital where a CT scan was preformed and a 10cm mass was found. She was admitted immediately, and the mass was biopsied which came back showing sarcoma.
They are still in the works of finding finding out exactly what type of rare sarcoma cancer Kinsley is dealing with, and whether it has spread. Kinsley remains admitted to valley children’s, now on oxygen as her o2 levels have not been stable since the biopsy.
Jimmy (Dad) owns his own plumbing business, and is currently commuting from his home and work in Exeter, to Valley Children’s on a daily basis so that he can continue to be there for his little girl.
Breana has taken a leave from work to stay by Kinsley’s side full time. She is an employee of Davita Dialysis, which also holds their whole families insurance policies. Fellow co-workers are donating PTO so that she doesn’t have to stress about insurance coverage for the family during this difficult time. If you or someone you know are also an employee of this company, please consider doing so as well.
Breana and Jimmy are also parents to two other kids, Jacob and Emily.
Though Jimmy is continuing to work to keep his business going and their bills paid, his number one focus should be Kinsley at this time. My mission is to help the Belcher family have no added stresses other than focusing on Kinsley’s health and treatment. Gas here in California is pretty expensive as most of us know, so the commute alone is a pretty big cost in itself. Throw in mortgage, bills, everyday expenses and food. These are stresses the family should not have to worry about while their baby girl literally fights for her life.
Lets show this family that Kinsley is not fighting alone, and that she has an army marching right along beside her.
If you prefer to donate via Venmo, please contact me directly so I can give you the Venmo name for Kinsley. We are also collecting gift cards, gas cards, cards and pictures for Kinsley, and small activities or gifts to continue to take up to Kinsley. If this is something you are interested in, contact Camri at [phone redacted].
As Breana stated in an earlier post, Kinsley was born their miracle baby as they were SHOCKED to find out Breana was even pregnant with her. It’s a true miracle she’s here. And she will REMAIN their miracle baby and their precious little warrior.
This family would never ask for help, they have worked insanely hard to get to where they are today all on their own. It’s time to come together as a community and show them that they don’t NEED to ask for help because regardless, we are here to fight this horrible beast with sweet Kinsley and hold them afloat while they stay by her side and give her the strength Kinsley needs to win this battle.
Last but not least, keep sweet Kinsley in your prayers as she begins this journey no child should ever have to walk through.
