Lola's tumor was expensive.

Last week, my dog Lola began acting lethargic and generally quite ill. I took her to the vet on a Monday morning, and by Monday afternoon he'd discovered a three-pound tumor growing on her spleen.

Fortunately, the vet was able to remove the tumor with no further ill effects, and it tested benign, meaning Lola is no worse for wear, and now has a wicked scar to show off.

Unfortunately, the total bill came to just under $3,000.

Given other changes in my life at the moment, I need to ask for a little generosity from my friends and family to get me over this hump. You'll help to make sure I can pay my mortgage, but really, you'll *retroactively* help to keep Lola alive and healthy. And she thanks you even more than me.
