Hello, my name is Emigen Trammel. I am starting a GoFundMe not only for my grandma but for the woman that I call mom. Helen adopted me at the age of three and gave me such an amazing life. This amazing woman has been an absolute blessing in my life and many others. Helen is a mother of six and a sister to five siblings. Helen has worked hard her whole life running a food business and has now been retired for about 7 years. She has been enjoying her retirement by taking care of her plants and enjoying time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Helen was recently diagnosed with stage three, almost four, cervical and uterine cancer. They also found a big mass by her kidney. Her husband, Victor, has been such a great support in this extremely hard time, as well as her children and grandchildren. Helen will have to undergo radiation and chemo, starting May 12. This will mean she has to stay in Bend for five weeks because the doctors want to do five days on, two days off for those five weeks with two chemo treatments.

Due to the sudden diagnosis, severity, and with how fast things are moving with her current medical situation, finances have had to be stretched thin really fast. The Barbers have had to purchase an Airbnb for five weeks. Along with the Airbnb comes food, gas, and medical bills. The many trips and stays back and forth to Bend for all the recent appointments have added up as well. Any help in this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
