Medical expenses for Nicholas Zahorcak

Hey Heroes This is the Fired Up Chief! I am looking for help to spread Pride, Enthusiasm, and Passion (PEP) to a young Hero named, Nicholas Zahorcak. On May 16, I will be running a Half Marathon @ Edwards AFB in his honor to raise funds and awareness for this hero who is winning a tough battle. Can you imagine living with a rare condition that doctors describe as "Hell on Earth"? Each day, this little hero lives and fights this terrible disease called, Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa aka E.B. It's a horrible genetic condition that Nicholas was born with . A lot of his skin is raw, the slightest touch can cause blisters that quickly spread. I know it’s hard to do, but can you imagine what it would be like for one of your family member to suffer from a similar illness. Think of how your world would change. Sadly, Nicholas' family is faced with emotionally devastating reality, and have limited means to cope. Therefore, I have committed to providing support, encouragement, and assistance to Nicholas's family. My goal is to raise $5000, which will significantly help his family with purchasing an enhanced wheelchair and other expenses.
