We are deeply sadden for the lost of Pauli Stephen Bankston, last born child of Mary and Paul Bankston. Stephen was called to be with the angels at the young tender age of 44. He was born with mental complications due to the use of forceps being use to pull him out of the wound, crushing his brain and causing intellectual disability. Stephen was raised by his mother Mary until he reached the the age of 30 when the state of Florida took him away. Stephen resided at a Florida group home and was cared for by a caregiver and team of behavioral analysts. Stephen was a fun loving child who may have been misunderstood, however he was aware of his surroundings and loved being around family, friends and church members.
Stephen lost one of his sisters (Valerie) 3 years ago , and is survived by his mother Mary Bankston, and two sisters : Trieste Jefferson and Carla Fields. Many have asked to help, therefore we are setting up GOFUNDME to assist in funeral arrangements and appreciate your help. The family loves Stephen, is overwhelmed, but believes God has a better place for him.
