Team Millie

Millie Thom turned 10 on Monday 9 January 2023. Just a few weeks later, after numerous, vigorous testing, Millie was diagnosed with malignant soft tissue cancer on the 25th January 2023. Otherwise, in good physical health, Millie began treatment with surgery on Wednesday 1 February followed by chemotherapy on Monday 6 February. Millie will continue a course of chemo, followed by further surgery and then radiation.

This diagnosis, both shocking and completely unexpected, has meant that Millie's parents, Jenni and Dave, have had to take unplanned leave from their respective jobs, as well as, emotionally dealing with their beautiful young daughter, being gravely unwell.

In the coming weeks and months, there will, no doubt, be unexpected costs and added pressures on the family.

To help ease some of this pressure, we have set up Team Millie to assist, in any way we can, to ensure that the Thom family have as much financial peace of mind, during Millie's cancer journey.
