Medical Expenses and Other Related Costs

"I had a humbling experience today. I went and visited Coach Fields (our basketball J.V. Coach that has been with us for the last 3 years) and his 1 month old baby girl, Londyn Fields, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville . She has had 2 heart surgeries, in as many weeks, and the surgery she had yesterday has her on a Berlins Heart machine. This is a machine that pumps the blood for Londyn 's heart because her tiny heart stopped working. She is now awaiting a heart transplant and there is no time table for when this will happen. Coach Fields has spent most of his last month in Gainesville attending to his daughter. I could not imagine how difficult this must be. I did get to pray with him and the mother. I did get to see baby Londyn with the tubes going into her little body, as they were starting to put a pick line in her and having some difficulty finding a good place to place it.
