Isabelle Grace Heart Warrior

Story

A message from the Orzechowski family. I gave birth to my second daughter Isabelle Grace at the end of May. She was born with multiple congenital heart defects. It affects 1 in 100 babies born. There is no cure for this. At 7 days old they attempted surgery to repair two of the defects. Unfortunately it didn't go as planned. When they cut her open she began leaking fluid from around her stomach and lungs. They were unable to operate. She was in the NICU recovering and then transferred to the PICU. It has been a very long road for us. She is recovering well but is still on a ventilator and her levels are still off for it to be removed. When she is well enough they will attempt surgery again. They might do it in about a week or two depending on how she is. We are asking everyone to pray for her and share her story so not only can we help her but we can also spread the awareness of CHD's at the same time. She is a very complicated case and she is in GOD's hands as he leads her through this journey. Please, please pray with us.Candice is busy caring for their older daughter, Victoria, recovering from childbirth and running back and forth to Rochester multiple times per week. She will be receiving small disability checks until her maternity leave is over. Then Marc's will be the only income for this family. Please consider donating something to help this family through this stressful time.
