Our Story.

Our baby was born several months early due to preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome, scary for both mom and baby.  46 days in the NICU was definitely a trying time.  We were 2,500 miles away from any of our family, which made it extra difficult.  Balancing running a business, kids at home, and mom & baby in the hospital was a struggle for us all.

We took a chance after we were done with the hospital to move back to our hometown, relocate the business, and start fresh.  We needed to be near family and support, and it wasn't until this emergency that we realized just how important it was for us and our kids to be close to aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  2,500 miles was at least 2,400 miles too far!

What we didn't anticipate was all of the medical expenses, the slower than expected rebuilding of our company, and the bills kept racking up.

Our family business is in dire jeopardy and I am reluctantly reaching out for help. It's not easy to ask, it's never been in our nature. Usually we're the ones helping others!

We have been in business for ten years and want nothing more than to continue into future generations.

We're praying for 2,000 people to donate $100 so we can save our family business, provide a legacy for our children, and give back to the community we love.

Donations of any amount, no matter how small, would be cherished and make a difference in keeping our dreams alive.

I come from a very poor family, surviving as a child by the grace of God, the welfare system (including government cheese and peanut butter), and good neighbors who would let me borrow buckets of water to bathe and brush my teeth.

My parents were severe drug addicts and my stepfather was extremely abusive.  I've done everything in my power to never depend on others, not accept welfare or handouts, and prevent my kids from experiencing the childhood I had.

After many years of working hard, often two or three jobs simultaneously, I managed to go into business for myself.  And now the whole family is involved, from washing the truck to sweeping the warehouse, paperwork and even cleaning the restroom.

Anything is appreciated, and from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for reading our story!
