I am setting this page up on behalf of all the former students of Ron the Science teacher at St Mary Buffalo Grove.  In early November Ron was burned on over 40% of his body due to an explosion while working at home.  As we know Ron touched many lives over the years at St. Mary's. This quiet man really cared so much about our kids and could be quite the prankster when no one was looking.   His hard work introduced the students to science  in the middle school years including their first experience at the beloved Camp Eds.  Camp Eds trips included a 6th grade overnight trip that showed his crazier side, sneaking the bus out, trips to the local McDonalds, and pulling pranks.   Not only was there lots of fun and learning but he helped shape the leadership skills and love of the outdoors for many during their middle school years and beyond.  His involvement with student council as well as Camp Ed's helped make this so.

Because Ron will undergo countless surgeries, related treatment  and rehabilitation I am asking for donations that will assist him in his recovery.  Of course no amount is too small or too large and  know that they will be greatly appreciated along with all of your prayers and good thoughts!
