Leanne's Legacy

It is with deep regret that we report the untimely death of Leanne Stapleton.

Leanne has battled throughout her life with an asthmatic condition and was recently diagnosed with a serious heart condition and suffered a major cardiac arrest that caused her to be hospitalized and on life support for 14 days.

She has been a devoted single mother for many years to her 12-year-old son, Ronan, who survives her. The family is endeavoring to send Leanne back home to Ireland, for burial next to her grandmother Lila, in Donegal town. This is in keeping with Leanne’s wishes.

She just turned 40 years of age 2 days after being placed on life support. She is survived also by her Dad, Kevin, her Mom, Susan and her Stepmother, Irene.

The family would sincerely appreciate any financial support to deal with ongoing medical and legal expenses.
