In loving memory of Alexander J. Harvey

Alex was born March 6, 2014 with a rare and severe form of spina bifida cystica with myelomeningocele. This defect to his neural tube (spinal column) caused his kidneys and renal system to malfunction during in utero development, not giving him the room he needed to grow properly.

He was our life, our love and our angel. He was a good baby, even by good baby standards. He always smiled, he always was happy, safe, clean and had a full belly, and we loved him very much.
Unfortunately the systems that didn't develop correctly failed April 2nd of 2014 at 10:05 a.m., he went quietly and with a smile. A trooper until the very end.

Unfortunately after only 27 days of life heaven got a new resident.

Now here comes the hardest part of all of this. We loved him, but we do not have the money to be able to give the little guy a proper send off. The one someone as special as him deserves.

All funds donated will be used for sevice costs, and to memorialise the precious little trooper. All funds exceeding the needed funds will be donated to Comer Childrens Hospital in Chicago, IL. for the care they gave him.
