I'm raising money for women and children who are victims of abuse from domestic violence. I will start a safe place for shelter for those who want out of this type of environment. The program will provide safety, food, clothing, and anything needed to help each individual off to a usual, healthy way of living free from the abusive situation. I survived domestic violence and I know all the ins and out wanting help and being unable to find help back in the late 1980s. Once I was able to make my escape it took years for me to get here and now I aim to help anyone who wants out and get a new way to live. This type of abuse is dangerous and unfortunately, everyone will not survive the beatings. The monies raised will go towards the property for the shelter where families can find safety, balance and a fresh start to a better lifestyle to live on knowing there is a light at the end of every tunnel. It is very important to me because I experienced this type of physical abuse today I suffer from head trauma caused by a fight with my spouse at that time I was hit in the head with a large statue and never recovered from the injury. I praise God all the time I survived. Today I can get to work giving back the time to help see about others who are faced with this unfortunate lifestyle.
