Jerold Anthony White

Hi, my name is Donna Smith and I am helping to raise funds for family of Jerold Anthony White very unexpectedly on October 15, 2022. I met this man and his personality upon my check in to the command in December 2004 and it's an introduction and list of stories I will never forget.

Mr. White shared many memories with many of us that knew him in the 20+ years he worked in the walls of Beaufort Naval Hospital.

He had a smile that stretched from one side of the hallway to the other, and a voice that was unmistakable. He always had jokes, a hello to share, and a story to tell.

Prior to his employment at the Naval Hospital, he was an Army medic.

During his many years at the command, he spent time working as the ward clerk on M5, spent many years as the unforgettable information desk clerk at the quarterdeck, and worked in Repographics department at the time of his passing.

He was still young at 47 years old with a lot of life left ahead of him. His sudden passing has left a void in many lives.

He had two children that he loved with all of his heart, and left behind an large number of family and friends who are struggling to cope and figure out how to go on without him.

In an effort to help ease the many unexpected expenses that comes with losing someone, we are working to raise funds to give to his family to help make this difficult time a little less stressful on them.

Every little bit helps, and if the thousands of us who served with him give a little of ourselves, we can make a big impact to help his family.

Anyone desiring to attend the memorial service, it is being held on Thursday, October 27th at 1100 at the Beaufort National Cemetery located at 1601 Boundary Street.
