Higgy Strong! Support Kelly Higgins

Carver resident, mother to Paul and Nathan, wife of Kenny, daughter, sister and friend, Kelly Higgins was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on April 17.  Kelly has endured several surgeries already as well as numerous tests and Dr. appointments.  While her prognosis initially appears good she is only just beginning treatment and has a long road ahead. 
Kelly is scheduled to start 6 months of intensive Chemotheraphy the 2nd week of August, which will be followed by 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments. 

With lots of luck, Kelly will be able to return to work in the next month or so if she's feeling up to it, but she will be on a reduced schedule for possibly the next 8 to 12 months, significantly reducing her income. 

Every summer Kelly and Kenny generously open their home and host a fabulous event for dozens of friends and family. There is always live music, dancing, fireworks and fun for all ages. 
This past July 4th was even more special as we got to witness a renewal of their wedding vows as they celebrated their 5 year annniversary. 


In  return for all the generosity Kelly and Kenny have shown us, I'm counting on the generosity of friends, family and community to share this campaign and consider donating so Kelly and Kenny can put all their energy into beating cancer.
