Help Lauren Buy Clatterbridge a “Cold Cap”

Hi there My name is Lauren,

I was living my best life, I got married 6 months ago which was the best day of my life. We where just finding our feet in married life then BOOM on 22nd November 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As you can imagine my world felt like it had crashed down around me.

I was in shock and disbelief I felt like I was too young for this. I felt like my body which I work so hard to keep fit and healthy had failed me.

BUT then I pulled myself together and decided to take on this battle with all my strength and positive power. I have the most amazing positive army supporting me in My Family and Friends I am so lucky. This nasty “Mr Cancer” can do one and we will show it who is boss. It’s picked on the wrong person here … Watch this space!

So I’ve started my chemotherapy treatment and I’ve been lucky enough to be offered the cool cap to help preserve my hair. I found out last week during treatment these machines cost £20,000 and are non nhs funded. Clatterbridge Cancer Centre fund them. They are so well used and offered to everyone that they need replacing and more buying.

For this reason I want to give them a new one so that other people facing this battle will have the opportunity to use it in the future as everyone should be able to access them.

So please help in anyway you can and please keep your eyes peeled for what “My Amazing Army” will be doing over the next few months to help me raise this.
