Hello Everyone! My name is Mariana Alejandra Cuestas Oyuela, my parents and I believe everyone in the world is special, each in her or his own way and has a special purpose in life.
I was born on the 21st of May 2013. My purpose in life until this point has been to show the world and specialy my parents that God exists and the meaning to be brave and have a fighting spirit. In my short life I have had 4 hospitalizations, 1 respiratory arrest and a surgery in my home country of Honduras, then because of a miracle it was possible for me to go to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Here I have survived: another surgery, and a respiratory and cardiac arrest in Miami. As of the 24 of December 2013, I am living with a Tracheostomy and a G-tube. I had an emergency surgery the past thursday, March 27, due to adhesions form the surgery from december 24.
I am a SURVIVIOR!
My parents and I now need everyone´s help to pay for my respiratory equipment for the future, transportation back home, and try to keep up with the medical bill. You are special. My parents and I are eternally grateful for your help.
