Hello everyone,
Any of you who are on our social media lists are well aware that our daughter, Maleah, has developed an unique and extraordinary gift....she's a wrestler.
Last year she began to transition into women's wrestling, which due to a smaller market is a national stage. Early in last years season she encountered success, finishing in second place at the New Jersey State finals. Soon after she suffered a fracture to her arm devastating her ability to continue her tournament season.
This year happily she has had no such misfortune. Maleah finished in first place in the Pennsylvania Women's Wrestling Championships and again finished first in the Northeastern Women's Wrestling Championships. She is now qualified to compete on a national stage in Oklahoma at the end of the month.
Maleah has earned herself an opportunity to build relationships that may afford her a path to her dreams of a college education,up to her dream of someday representing team USA in the Olympic Games! Unfortunately her dreams and our budget are not in complete alignment.
Go Fund Me is an outlet for our family to raise the funds needed to permit Maleah to realize the opportunities she has earned. Our community, friends, and loved ones are able to make contributions, however large or small, to see her go to the US Women's Wrestling Chamionship.
Should we fall short of our goal, or surpass it, any remaining funds will be contributed to Baldwin Whitehall Youth Wrestling, at which time they will be donated to the family of our late beloved coach, George McCormack. Coach McCormack lost his battle with cancer last year leaving behind a junior high age son.
