Everly needs a Medical Band
Donation protected
On November 14, 2013, our sweet Everly came into this world, kicking, screaming, and rocking an extra copy of her 21st chromosome. Due to her Down Syndrome, she had very low muscle tone at birth, coupled with undergoing surgery to repair her bowel and was unable to have "tummy time" while in the NICU for 32 days. During this time she developed a flat spot on the right side of the back of her head. Everly has been working hard in physical therapy to build up her muscle tone, and is now able to do tummy time and hold her head up. However, the flat spot has caused her forhead to slightly jut forward, and can cause balance issues as she learns to crawl and walk. Our sweet girl already has so many challenges ahead of her in life, and we don't want one more thing to stand in her way. Please help us pay for the medical band(helmet) to fix the shape of her head!
