The Alzheimer Society of Ireland

Dear family and friends,

My mom, Mary Magner, and I are taking on the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon on June 1st, and we’re doing it for a cause that’s very close to our hearts—the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers. Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia affect so many families across Ireland. We’re lacing up our runners to help raise vital funds for support services and advocacy. Every step we take on June 1st will be in honour of those living with dementia and the families who care for them.
