7 year old girl fell into a FIRE PIT

Katie is a loving 7 year old girl. On Nov 24 while spending time outside with her family doing yard work she fell backwards into a fire pit. Katie suffered second degree burns of 20% of her body with third degree burns in several of those areas. Her back, legs, and hands were severely burned as she pulled herself out. She was life flighted to the JMS Burn Center in Augusta, GA, a 3 hour drive from her home. Katie received skin grafts the next morning and will need further grafting to include a harvest from her own leg. Katies family will have tremendous amounts of travel from home to the burn center weekly, with all the upcoming surgeries and continuous bandage care and monitoring.
