Our baby Chloe has been unwell. They suspect IVDD, but after trips to the emergency vet and her vet, the only definitive way to diagnose is via MRI. It was discovered that she also has a heart murmur, so the hospital will need to also do a cardiac work-up and echocardiogram prior to the MRI since that will require anesthetic. She will also need to be in the hospital overnight. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover this, and we do not qualify for the care credit. Nor do we have that amount of credit or cash on hand. The hospital will not do payment arrangements (most won’t these days).
As many of you know, the past 3 months have been quite challenging for Alex and me with our own issues. I know these times are difficult for everyone, but if you can give anything, we would be eternally grateful. Every little bit helps. If you cannot donate, please share and send us some good vibes and prayers.
We have been blessed to adopt this feisty baby 2 years ago, and she has brought such happiness to our world. She had a rough start in life, and we have watched her grow and become such a character. It is breaking our hearts that we cannot immediately give her the treatment she needs. She is on meds to control her pain, keep her inflammation down, and manage her anxiety, but it is so distressing to see her like this. Thank you in advance for reading, caring, donating, and/or sharing.
