Help Save Leonie

We have set ourselves the challenge of running 10km at Olympic park on Sunday 3rd March.

We have been following Leonie’s story and would love any funds we raise to go towards Leonie’s treatment

Leonie had a lump checked in mid 2022 and was given the all clear. By early 2023, at just 28, she learned she in fact had, by now stage4, Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is now on her third line of chemo and has bravely tried every treatment we can access. But TNBC is a very aggressive cancer in young women.

We are obviously heartbroken to see our girl in pain and understanding the potential outcome.

We have done our best to access doctors, advice and survivors around the world, but so far come up short, so are turning now to one cancer centre based in North America which offers hope via a combination of treatments not available in the UK. And turning to you, gratefully, for help to fund it.

We would sincerely appreciate any support you could contribute to cover as much as possible of an estimated £72,000 / $91,000 plus further costs. We pray this treatment will make the difference. If for any reason the funds can not be put to the intended treatment, we pledge to divert any collected funds to charities Young Lives Vs Cancer and Make 2nds Count.
