Help Dr Basil to support and evacuate his family

Hi, my name is issam and I created this fundraiser on behalf of basil elzeenaty, he is a medical student from gaza , and this is basil’s story in his own words.

Hello i am basil elzeenaty, from Palestine (gaza), i am writing this after lots of thoughts and hesitation.

But the urgency and need to rescue my family is greater than my resilience, and i am fundraising to help my family live a good life after losing everything.

I am desperately seeking your generous support to help me evacuate my family (parents ,4 sisters and 2 brothers)from gaza.

In the heart of conflict, my family faces dire circumstances, struggling for basic necessities in the midst of war. Our once peaceful home is now a battleground, and we find ourselves in desperate need of food, medical care, shelter, and financial assistance, we need an out , a chance at safety.

We were sleeping in the street without shelter, and we could not find a single blanket to keep us warm. We could not find any bread to satisfy our hunger. After that , we received help , and we took refuge in my aunt’s house.

I lost many members of my family and friends. I lost a part of my house , and my father’s workplace was also destroyed. I have many dreams, i need to be safe!

‏Amidst the chaos, we yearn for a helping hand to provide sustenance, essential medical aid, and the means to secure shelter.

‏To escape the clutches of conflict, we are in need of resources for safe travel, hoping to find refuge from the dangers that surround us. Each day presents a new challenge, and your support can be a beacon of hope for our family's escape and the possibility of rebuilding our lives.

‏Your assistance, whether through donations or sharing our story, can make a significant impact, helping us navigate through the hardships of war and rebuild a future free from the shadows of conflict.

Now i want to talk about my story, I'm Basil elzeenaty from Palestine (Gaza), a senior medical student. My university journey began in Sudan in 2016, but faced with challenging circumstances, I was delayed in graduating for three years, ultimately returning to Gaza due to the war in Sudan and the suspension of studies, currently, I’ve dedicated my full time as volunteer (doctor), Giving an extra helping hand without expecting anything in return, all for the sake of those injured by the harshness of the war.

While awaiting the end of the war, another conflict erupted in Gaza. With the current circumstances and the closure of the Rafah border crossing, I lost my passion for studying and relinquished my right to education, turning graduation into an unattainable dream.

Recently, over a month ago, university classes resumed. However, I still lack the passion for learning, engaging instead in volunteering at hospitals and field points. I wandered amidst the walls of pain and hope, witnessing the suffering of others. From here, hope has rekindled in achieving the dream of graduation and helping my people, serving my nation.

I am striving hard to continue my educational journey. Now, I am required to return to university life, but I have to attend immediately to avoid delay and integration into a new batch, which means an additional year of delay. However, the path ahead is full of obstacles, between hope sprouting from the rubble of wars and a reality threatening to delay the steps of graduation.

Despite the suffering and challenges, I chose to rise and raise the flag of hope. The decision I made was tough – to travel to continue my studies. However, financial difficulties obstruct my path, with the cost of travel through Rafah border reaching $6000,for one person( total:6000*9=54000$) and I need $6000 for tuition fees.

I present to you our story with hope that it touches your hearts ,Your support means the world to us, thanks for safeguarding our lives ,shielding us from harm, rebuilding our lives and, contributes to making the dream of education and serving the nation a reality. I seek your help and participation in this story to together build a bridge of hope that surpasses challenges and achieves the dream of education and nation service. ‎مرحبًا، اسمي عصام وقمت بإنشاء حملة جمع التبرعات هذه نيابة عن باسل الزيناتي، وهو طالب طب من غزة، وهذه قصة باسل على لسانه.، وستذهب جميع التبرعات مباشرة إلى ابن عمي باسل وعائلته. 

‎مرحبا، أنا باسل الزيناتي، من فلسطين (غزة)، أكتب هذا بعد الكثير من الأفكار والتردد.

‎لكن الحاجة الملحة إلى إنقاذ عائلتي أكبر من قدرتي على الصمود، وأنا أقوم بجمع التبرعات لمساعدة عائلتي على عيش حياة جيدة بعد فقدان كل شيء.

‎أسعى بشدة للحصول على دعمكم السخي لمساعدتي في إجلاء عائلتي (الوالدين و4 شقيقات وشقيقين) من غزة.

‎في قلب الصراع، تواجه عائلتي ظروفا عصيبة، تكافح من أجل الضروريات الأساسية في خضم الحرب. أصبح منزلنا الذي كان مسالما في يوم ساحة معركة، ونجد أنفسنا في حاجة ماسة إلى الطعام والرعاية الطبية والمأوى والمساعدة المالية، ونحن بحاجة إلى الخروج، وفرصة للسلامة.

‎كنا ننام في الشارع بدون مأوى، ولم نتمكن من العثور على بطانية واحدة لإبقائنا دافئين. لم نتمكن من العثور على أي خبز لإشباع جوعنا. بعد ذلك، تلقينا المساعدة، ولجأنا إلى منزل عمتي.

‎لقد فقدت العديد من أفراد عائلتي وأصدقائي. لقد فقدت جزءا كبيرا من منزلي، وتم تدمير مكان عمل والدي أيضا. لدي العديد من الأحلام، يجب أن أكون بأمان!

‎وسط الفوضى، نتوق إلى يد العون لتوفير القوت والمساعدات الطبية الأساسية ووسائل تأمين المأوى.

‎للهروب من براثن الصراع، نحن بحاجة إلى موارد للسفر الآمن، على أمل العثور على ملجأ من المخاطر التي تحيط بنا. يمثل كل يوم تحديا جديدا، ويمكن أن يكون دعمكم منارة أمل لهروب عائلتنا وإمكانية إعادة بناء حياتنا.

‎يمكن أن يكون لمساعدتكم، سواء من خلال التبرعات أو مشاركة قصتنا، تأثير كبير، مما يساعدنا على التنقل خلال مصاعب الحرب وإعادة بناء مستقبل خال من ظلال الصراع.

‎الآن أريد أن أتحدث عن قصتي، أنا باسل الزيناتي من فلسطين (غزة)، وهو طالب طب المستوى الأخير. بدأت رحلتي الجامعية في السودان في عام 2016، ولكن في مواجهة ظروف صعبة، تأخرت في التخرج لمدة ثلاث سنوات، وعدت في نهاية المطاف إلى غزة بسبب الحرب في السودان وتعليق الدراسات، حاليا، خصصت وقتي الكامل كمتطوع (طبيب)، وتقديم يد عون إضافية دون توقع أي شيء في المقابل، كل ذلك من أجل المصابين بقسوة الحرب.

‎في انتظار نهاية الحرب، اندلع صراع آخر في غزة. في ظل الظروف الحالية وإغلاق معبر رفح الحدودي، فقدت شغفي بالدراسة وتخليت عن حقي في التعليم، مما حول التخرج إلى حلم لا يمكن تحقيقه.

‎في الآونة الأخيرة، قبل أكثر من شهر، استؤنفت الفصول الجامعية. ومع ذلك، ما زلت أفتقد شغف التعلم، وأشارك بدلا من ذلك في التطوع في المستشفيات والنقاط الميدانية. تجولت وسط جدران الألم والأمل، وأشهد معاناة الآخرين. من هنا، أشعل الأمل في تحقيق حلم التخرج ومساعدة شعبي، وخدمة أمتي.

‎أنا أسعى جاهدا لمواصلة رحلتي التعليمية. الآن، مطلوب مني العودة إلى الحياة الجامعية، ولكن يجب أن أحضر على الفور لتجنب التأخير والاندماج في دفعة جديدة، مما يعني سنة إضافية من التأخير. ومع ذلك، فإن الطريق إلى الأمام مليء بالعقبات، بين الأمل الذي ينبت من أنقاض الحروب والواقع الذي يهدد بتأخير خطوات التخرج.

‎على الرغم من المعاناة والتحديات، اخترت النهوض ورفع علم الأمل. كان القرار الذي اتخذته صعبا - السفر لمواصلة دراستي. ومع ذلك، فإن الصعوبات المالية تعرقل طريقي، حيث تصل تكلفة السفر عبر حدود رفح إلى 6000 دولار، لشخص واحد (المجموع: 6000 * 9 = 54000 دولار) وأحتاج إلى 6000 دولار للرسوم الدراسية.
