We are Neonatal Intensive Care nurses starting our company to improve and promote children’s health after discharge from the hospital. At KIDS Home Health Care, we will provide skilled nursing care in the home setting after hospital discharge for infants and children up to age 18 years.
Children discharged from the hospital are often medically fragile, meaning they still need care from a skilled professional, like a nurse, to heal and grow to their full potential. Nursing care can be provided in the child’s home, in a safe and familiar environment. As NICU nurses we have cared for and nurtured our tiny patients to the point of discharge from the hospital. As parents, with our own personal experience of taking home sick children, we understand the need to continue health care in the home and to decrease the risk of hospital re-admission. We also understand the importance of being a support to the families and an advocate for our children.
Our mission is to provide high quality health care to infants and children in the home setting with the goal of helping them achieve optimal health. We can accomplish this through providing evidence-based, creative, and compassionate care. We are known for our collaborative team spirit, experience, and commitment.
Funding will help with the start-up costs of this important service, helping us to establish a business grounded in the core of nursing through caring, integrity, diversity, and dedication, with the spirit of excellence. This is a women-owned minority business, based in South-Eastern Michigan, with potential growth opportunities on a national plan. Check us out at www.kidshhc.com
We aim to become a successful organization. While your kindness will help us get the start that we need, our plan is to pay it forward once we are established. We believe in helping our communities and would like to see others realize their dreams of building a future helping others.
Thank you!
