Karin is a 40 year old who lives in St. Charles, IL. Karin is a wife, teacher, sister, daughter and an amazing mother of two boys.
Recently, Karin went to get a mammogram like every 40 year old female is suggested to do at this age without any family history of cancer. Just a few weeks ago Karin was diagnosed with an extremely aggresive type of breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
Today, October 1st, 2018, the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Karin is starting her year long chemo journey. Karin will be getting 6 rounds of chemo over 8 hours every 3 weeks. After many chemo treatments Karin will then have surgery.
Many of the tests and treatments Karin will need in order to kick the crap out of this cancer will not be covered by insurance. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month we are asking for any financial help to go towards Karin and her family.
Please help Karin and Jason (husband), Graham (son), and Jonah (son) Heiliger during this incredibly difficult time.
