Recently, my bestfriend Deb was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma brain tumor. She recently started chemotherapy to decrease the size of the tumor because it has already caused her to lose 50% of her vision in her left eye due to it pressing on her optic nerve. It has caused her many other health issues that she wishes to remain private, but she suffers each day emotionally and physically. Surgery is not an option because this tumor is pressing on many other nerves, and it is located in a small risky area. The chemo is is expensive and she pays out of pocket for each treatment and doctor's visit. Due to this tumor, she has been forced to work less than half of the amount that she used to, and needs a little help with all of this happening to her.
