My name is Andrea Repasky and I am a Breast Cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 IDC in August 2011 at age 34. Later, I found out that i carry the BRCA1 gene. I did chemo, and had a double mastectomy. Throughout, my treatment, I met people who weren't as lucky as myself. They didn't have medical benefits, or sick pay while off work. This is when Sink for Pink was born. I started a 3 on 3 basketball tournament to help raise money for cancer patients. At Sink for Pink, there is also a chinese auction, 50/50, concessions and various free activities for kids. Over the last two years we've raised close to $15,000 to help cancer patients with mammograms, medical expenses, groceries, etc. Please consider making a donation. Every bit helps. This year the money raised will be donated to the Silver Lining Foundation on behalf of Sink for Pink in memory of my friend Wendy (Wilush) Jackson, who faught hard against breast cancer. The silver lining foundation helps people with ALL cancers with monetary relief. thank you in advance !!!
