UPDATE: Hi, my name is Supriya and I created this fundraiser for my dear friends Carrie and Jason, and their beloved dog, Zivvy, a 15-year-old terrier mix who has filled their lives with unconditional love and joy.

Recently, Ziv became very ill and was rushed to the animal hospital after he began vomiting profusely. He was quickly admitted to the ICU, where the veterinarians discovered he was suffering from severe pancreatitis and kidney failure. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, and Ziv’s own incredible resilience, it has become clear that his little body is too tired to keep fighting.

Zivvy has been a fighter since the beginning - overcoming health challenges since he was just 5 weeks old. Even earlier this year, after tearing his ACL, he recovered beautifully with the same determination and spirit that everyone who knows him has come to love. Sadly, the medications that helped ease his pain likely contributed to his current illness.

Carrie and Jason have already spent over $5,000 on emergency and ICU care, doing everything possible to help Ziv heal. They are now facing not only these medical expenses, but also the additional costs of end-of-life care and ensuring that Ziv’s final moments are peaceful and filled with love.
