Help save Thor’s life: Urgent Surgery Needed

My name is Sarah and my cat Thor needs bladder surgery or else his bladder will obstruct and he won’t survive.

He is my best friend and support animal. I have multiple sclerosis and he has been there for me the past 5 years. He survived FIP treatment when he was only 6 months old and is cured from it. He’s a fighter and this surgery would save his life and mine. I can’t imagine a life without him, especially at this time in my life.

I am struggling financially and I know most people are. But any amount will help save his life.

UPDATE

Thor got out of surgery at midnight last night and he is officially on the mend! ❤️‍

He survived with only one minor complication. They ended up having to do what’s called a P/U surgery instead of bladder surgery. This is when they have to invert the male genitalia and widen the urethra. Once he was opened up they were able to remove the 100+ stones blocking his entire urethra and insert a special tool to flush out all the stones within in his bladder without having to do bladder surgery. So they traded one surgery for the other because they couldn’t flush the stones from his urethra into his bladder.

BUT he’s alive. And healing. He will need to stay at the hospital for another day to make sure his kidney function returns to normal before he can come home. It’s going to be a long healing process that will require a lot of my time.
