Paradise CA Camp Fire Jean De Lapp
Donation protected
The De Lapps of Paradise, CA have lost their home. On November 8th, my sister and her husband (Jean and Dave De Lapp), lost their home and everything they owned to the raging "campfire" in Paradise, CA. With little advanced notice, the fires reached their house as they were preparing to evacuate. Embers were falling into their back yard and the neighbor’s tree was going up in flames as they were leaving their home. They left; leaving everything behind. Now they must rebuild their life. My sister Jean, has been a nurse for over 30 years, currently as the Perinatal Service Coordinator at Feather River Health Center in Paradise. She is not sure if she will be able to return to work; depending on what is left of the hospital structure. She has spent here career helping others; now she needs help. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of the other victims of the Paradise "camp fire" also. The De Lapps of Paradise need the help of the generosity of family, friends, colleagues, and strangers, so they can start to rebuild their lives. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
