Good morning, recently AUGB Edinburgh donated £2,500 to buy food in Ukraine, this is an more detailed review, we bought food at the largest wholesale market in Kyiv at good price, we also got donations from other suppliers so that enabled each person to receive a 5 kg bag of support, now we managed to feed 1,000 people for a week, now the breakdown on that is astounding, 1,000 X 3 meals a day x 7 days= an astonishing 21,000 meals and support over a week, this was achieved by the donation of £2,500 from AUGB Edinburgh, with friends and contacts in Ukraine this is what has been accomplished, an incredible 21,000 meals , now this was on top of the amazing donated medical supplies and humanitarian aid that we have been delivering to hospitals and medics throughout Ukraine, as we deal directly with social services and workers and directly with Hospitals and medical centres, that means it's directly taken and delivered to priority cases for support, sometimes with the support of the our friends in the military ( they deliver to frontline area's in need of support and help, we know where every single item donated is delivered and when, and in total control of who and where exactly everything is delivered, amazing achievement from Scotland directly to Ukraine, directly to the service and people who are priority, this is decided by Hospitals and Social services, they keep a detailed list of requests and requirements, we try and visit the people and places but it's not always possible, we are in the hands of the military for protection and safety, we follow their direction and advice without question, this is not a gung-ho operation, it's targeted support , and with more funds and support we continue to give vital support to families, pensioners, disabled, injured, orphanages, rehabilitation centres basically every place and person, we don't pick and choose, working directly with Social services and Hospitals all over Ukraine, now you can donate or contact directly AUGB Edinburgh and donate to help those in Ukraine, the more donated then the more people who we can help directly with your help funds go to buy supplies and humanitarian aid and medical supplies and to help with transport costs to Ukraine, your help and support is vital and working with Ukrainian Hospitals and Social services means everything is logged on Ukraine government database
